Hofskirkja BL09-07-04
|
The church at Hof is a fine example of an early wooden turf house. It was built in 1884 by
the carpenter Páll Pállson and still operates as a parish church. The winds in this corner of
Iceland can be vicious and it is a tribute to Páll's workmanship that it has remained in good order
for so long.
