Windmill on Vigur BL06-07-06
|
Vigur is one of the largest islands in Ísafjarðardjúp. It has been farmed by the same family
for many generations, who in addition to dairy cows and sheep make a living from collecting
the down from eider duck nests. Vigur has Iceland's only surviving windmill, once used for grinding wheat.
